Collaborative
Divorce is an innovative process to help divorcing couples reach a
fair settlement in a cost-effective manner.
The Collaborative
Divorce Process ensures that the parties engage in an open exchange
of information, facilitates civil communication and creates an even
playing field.
The parties meet
with their attorneys to negotiate and work on agreements in four-way
settlement conferences to resolve disputes. The participants agree
to work respectfully, honestly and in good faith to find solutions
that meet the legitimate needs of both spouses.
The Collaborative
Divorce Team believes that all effort should be directed toward
a fair and equitable settlement and agrees in writing not to go to
court.
